Dear Fellow Artist:

On Friday and Saturday November 18th and 19th, 2005 the Annual Victorian Christmas Market will be held from 9-5 each day.  This two-day event will take place at the Cypress Creek Christian Community Center in Spring, located in the center of the Champions/FM 1960 area.  The theme for the weekend activities is Dickens on Cypress Creek.  There will be an array of food, vendors and entertainment with a Victorian flair.

The location is well established for craft fairs, has ample parking and a high degree of security, being located across the street from the Harris County Sheriff’s Department.  The target market holds a drawing potential of more than 500,000 in population.  The Community Center is at the heart of a 63 acre county park and library complex, and is the community focal point for arts and culture.

This year’s proceeds will benefit the Cypress Creek Community Chorale.  The Chorale has performed internationally in the famous Cathedral Notre Dame in Paris, France; the Cathedral of Salzburg, Austria; and St. Paul’s Cathedral in London, England, as well as St. Bartholomew the Great and Bath Abbey.  Proceeds will supplement future travel expenses and allow the Chorale members the distinctive honor of representing our community in these prestigious international performances.  The Chorale has also taken on a leading role in raising funds for a pipe organ to be installed in the Centrum, the Chorale's home performance hall.

Publicity for the event will be included in the following as well as numerous other magazines and trade publications: Houston Chronicle; FM 1960 Sun, local suburban newspapers; newsletters in over 50 area subdivisions; internet crafters’ calendars; local and state magazine calendars; targeted zip code mailing list;  posters and flyers in local merchant locations;  Community Center marquee and 2 websites.

We are selling program advertising for the program to be distributed at the Christmas Market, and repeated in the Concert program on December 4th  for the Chorale's Christmas program, A Partridge in a Pear Tree. An advertising order form will be sent to you upon request.  The Christmas Market program will be a booth guide and will feature items donated for the raffle received by November 1st.  Send in or bring by your item early so a photo can be taken and included in this guide.  This is a fine opportunity for your direct advertising to reach a significant market share and for your company to support a valuable community charity.

Thank you,
Mary Brown and Hazel Bright, Coordinators
